Mocha Motion for all teachers after winter break
Pacific Science Center hands on assembly
MSP (Measurement of Student Progress) Survival kits for third, fourth and fifth grade students
Staff Appreciation Week goodies
Transportation for class field trips
Family BBQ with KMPS and lots of fun
Cake, roses and thesauruses for all fifth grade students at graduation
And many, many more!
This year we are continuing our mission to improve the technology at Sunrise. Our goal is to buy as many new computers for classrooms as possible while also sponsoring similar events as listed above. PTA parents also assist the school staff with other tasks as needed.
None of this is possible without the amazing support from our outstanding Sunrise Families. Your support through the PTA enables the Sunrise children, teachers and school to have additional programs, rewards and benefits like those listed above.
A great way to show support for the PTA is to volunteer. Assistance is needed with many of the activities listed above and other school activities. Most activities require only 1 or 2 hours of your time the whole year! Or you can volunteer for much more. Not available to volunteer your time? Purchase items in the fall fundraiser or make a donation to the Sunrise Eagles PTA, and most importantly, join the PTA! There is NO time commitment required to join PTA! A strong PTA membership illustrates our community’s support of school and children.
